Consequently, the center of Ms. Bri’s practice is a selection of tools for youth and guardian support to help manage:
Anger- & impulse-control
Executive dysfunction (inattention, poor time management, difficulty with memory, disorganization, & issues in activating &/or sustaining effort toward task completion)
Interpersonal efficacy & conflict
Management of chronic conditions (biological and behavioral)
Self-esteem & body image

SOUL The ancient saying - it takes a village to raise a child - defines the foundation of work done at Mindful Milestones. The idea is that no family is an island unto itself - we are all connected by the tides of life that generate richness and preclude suffering. Mindful Milestones believes that it does take a village to work with a child, to support the education and enrichment of caregivers, the growth of a family; and to provide stability in the inevitability of a constantly changing world.
Ms. Bri believes that community begins at home and that to build a good neighborhood, we must first decide to be good neighbors. Programs offered by Mindful Milestones develop a shared vision of how our communities nurture the experiences of our maturing 'village'. Ms. Bri strives to connect and to collaborate with alternate members of the Gainesville community at large; so that we might better serve the growth and development of our proverbial village.
At present, Ms. Bri is seeking to secure volunteer positions for an ever-changing pool of middle & high school students - if your agency or business is interested in working with volunTEENS, please contact us to recruit &/or explore opportunities for shared oversight.
