SOUL The ancient saying - it takes a village to raise a child - defines the foundation of work done at Mindful Milestones. The idea is that no family is an island unto itself - we are all connected by the tides of life that generate richness and preclude suffering. Mindful Milestones believes that it does take a village to work with a child, to support the education and enrichment of caregivers, the growth of a family; and to provide stability in the inevitability of a constantly changing world.
Ms. Bri believes that community begins at home and that to build a good neighborhood, we must first decide to be good neighbors. Programs offered by Mindful Milestones develop a shared vision of how our communities nurture the experiences of our maturing 'village'. Ms. Bri empowers youth to embrace voluntary roles within the context of her work (i.e. as 'Big Brother' & 'Big Sister' volunTEENs) and is perpetually seeking to support their growth via social service within the Gainesville community at large. She strives to connect and to collaborate with alternate area-professionals & agencies, so that we might better serve the growth and development of our proverbial village.
